Dr. Brett Savary, ABI and College of Agriculture, served as co-organizer and moderator of the panel "Biorefinery Co-Products" at the Biotechnology Industry Organization's Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Biofuels held recently in Vancouver, British Columbia. He co-authored one talk presented by Dr. Randall Cameron (USDA Agricultural Research Service) and presented the poster "Prospecting for polysaccharide modifying enzymes useful for generating biobased products from plant cell walls," which was co-authored by Dr. Prasanna Vasu, ABI. The poster highlighted on-going research in the ABI Protein Chemistry Laboratory to an international audience of scientists, government officials, industry executives, and investors.
