The Department of Economics and Finance offers exceptional programs in business administration, finance, economics, and economics/pre-law (see buttons to the right). The department is home to outstanding students and to faculty that author textbooks and monographs and consult with government bodies and businesses around the country and the world. Student organizations such as Phi Beta Lambda, Students in Free Enterprise, Financial Management Association, and others offer students meaningful opportunities to learn outside the classroom and form relationships that last a lifetime. Graduates from the Department of Economics and Finance are found in leading positions at international companies such as Exxon, Wal-Mart, Microsoft, Bank of America, Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola, and hundreds of others.

In addition to our majors, the department offers minors in general business, economics, and finance. Also, the department offers various high-quality business law courses, including Legal Environment of Business, Employment Law, Cyberlaw & E-Commerce, Law of Commercial Transactions, and Law of Business Organizations.
