Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Program
The Arkansas State University MAcc Program is a professional degree program designed to prepare students for careers in accounting and related fields. This program prepares students for advancement beyond entry-level positions, and provides an excellent avenue to obtaining the 150 credit hours required to sit for the CPA exam.
The program of study for the MAcc includes the 15 hours of graduate level accounting courses covering areas including financial accounting, auditing and tax research. Topics relating to the broader business environment, technology, and international business comprise the other 16 credit hours required in the program.
As a capstone to the MAcc experience, students will work with a member of the accounting graduate faculty on an in-depth research project. The capstone experience will culminate in a written issues paper and a project presentation.
