Career Exploration & Enhancement Camp

Dates/Times:  
June 15, 2009 - July 20, 2009 (Four Weeks)

Age Requirement:  15 - 18

Description of Camp:  A residential camp that works closely with the youth of Arkansas to provide remediation in Reading and Mathematics. Furthermore, the camp provides intrusive job skills training through classroom instruction and on-the-site job training. Program participants are also provided instruction in Computer Technology and Health & Physical Education. Lastly, the program participants, will participate in various cultural enrichment excursions.

Cost of Camp: 
 The cost of the camp is being covered by the Arkansas Workforce Investment Authority for all the program participants

Deposit:  None is required

Residential or Day Camp:  The camp is Residential

Maximum Capacity:  This is predetermined by the various Workforce

How to Register:  All interested persons need to contact the appropriate Workforce Center for their county.
