Homecoming 2009

Homecoming 2009 was celebrated the weekend of October 24th.  Students, Alumni and the Jonesboro community enjoyed the Red Wolves' game against Florida International and the celebration of the Centennial of the creation of the First District Agricultural School which became Arkansas State University.

Highlights of the Alumni Homecoming 2009 weekend were:  The Class of 1959 - fifty-year reunion; Distinguished Alumni of 2009 Reception; Strong-Turner Alumni Chapter Events; Exhibit of Model T's and local antique cars; Alumni Tailgate Party; and the  Distinguished Alumni Recognition at halftime of ASU's game.  Please click on this Alumni Homecoming 2009 link to view their festivities.

The students celebrated Homecoming 2009 with a week full of events that included the following: chili cookoff; fashion show; float competition; hotwing eating contest: The inferno challenge; variety show; Homecoming Court brunch; and Homecoming Saturday.  The week culminated on Homecoming Saturday with the 27-10 victory over Florida International!  Highlights of the week's activities may be viewed below.
