Red WOLF CenterJanuary 19, 2010  Grand opening of the Red WOLF (Wellness Opportunities and Life Fitness) Recreational & Wellness Center.

February 11, 2010  Arkansas State University research institutions will receive federal government appropriations in the amount of $21.6 million which includes provision of $1.6 million to the Beck PRIDE Center for America's Wounded Veterans for expansion and development of programs that will benefit returning veterans and their families.

January 27, 2010  ASU - Jonesboro announced all-time record enrollment of 12,411 students for the 2010 spring semester.

April 5, 2010  Centennial Faculty Wall of Honor recognizing ASU’s First 100 Distinguished Faculty Members was unveiled as part of ASU’s continuing Centennial Celebration.

April 9, 2010  A new student tradition was launched with Ryan Beaird, SGA Presidentthe burial of the first Centennial time capsule at the Arch in the Historic Quadrangle.  The time capsule was from the Centennial graduating class of 2009.  Each year, following commencement, members of the graduating class will select symbolic items to seal in a time capsule to be buried in one of the 25 concrete benches surrounding the Historic Arch in the Center of campus.  Each time capsule will be opened at the 25-year homecoming reunion of its class, with symbolic items selected by successive graduating classes placed in the vacated concrete bench, thus continuing the tradition.

April 20, 2010
  ASU's annual Distinguished Performance Awards and Service Recognition ceremony featured the unveiling of the Staff Centennial Wall of Honor, recognizing 100 staff members who have made significant contributions to ASU in its 100-year history.

May 7, 2010  Dr. Les Wyatt, president of the Arkansas State University System, announced his plans to step down from that position on June 30 and the Board of Trustees subsequently moved to appoint ASU-Jonesboro Chancellor Robert L. Potts to serve as interim system president, effective July 1.  Dr. Wyatt began his ASU career in 1995.

July 15, 2010  ASU Facilities Management was awarded the APPA:  Leadership in Educational Facilities Award for Excellence, the premier award for facilities management.  The award is designed to highlight the essential role of facilities operations in the overall institutional mission and vision.  The Award for Excellence designation is valid for a period of five years.

August 19, 2010  U.S. News and World Report names ASU among 2011 "America's Best Colleges"

October 3, 2010 On the 100th anniversary of the first day of classes for the 1st District Agricultural School, Arkansas State University's concluded 19 months of Centennial Celebration events with a Centennial Finale dramatization titled “Dear Mrs. Caraway, Dear Mr. Kays” and the Centennial Composition entitled "Architects of Fate."

October 6, 2010  Arkansas State selected 10th among best universities for military veterans by Military Times EDGE magazine.

November 2, 2010  ASU Red Wolves football team dominated the Blue Raiders 51-24 on the live broadcast on ESPN2.
