The B.A. in Philosophy is offered in this department. It is a versatile degree. By now everyone has heard about how strong philosophy is in preparing students for the Law School Admission Test. But it is much more. Some philosophy students find their way to graduate school to become philosophy teachers themselves. Students considering religious careers can use philosophy as preparation for seminary. Other philosophy majors can be found working for the government or for business. If you like ideas, like getting to the bottom of things, and are willing to think seriously about important questions, consider majoring in philosophy.
