Stephanie Fischer (JOUR '06) is the editor of the Stuttgart Daily Leader in Stuttgart, AR.  

Shane Carter (RTV '00) has been promoted to Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR.  Carter has been employed with AMMC since 2007 and is responsible for the medical center's retirement community, foundation, governmental relations, marketing/public relations, and special events.  In addition to his education at ASU, Carter holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University.  He was also recently honored as the recipient of The Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent's Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives.  The honor recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed toward the advancement of healthcare management excellence.

David Keith (JOUR '81) has graduated with a master's degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  He has been a faculty member at the University of Central Arkansas for the past five years.  His wife, Tammy Smith Keith (JOUR '84) is a reporter and columnist for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and a writer for Arkansas Life magazine.

Pamela (Bailey) Bowie (MSMC '06) is the program manager for the Arkansas Cancer Coalition in Little Rock.

Steven Bridges (Jour '99) is working as a free-lance photographer in sports, editorial, and commercial work. You may want to check his Knoxville Photographer Web site.  He and his wife, Erica (Nance) Bridges (Nursing '91) have two children and live in Knoxville, TN.

Malinda Beeler (Jour '07 MSMC '09) ) is marking coordinator with SHARP, Inc. -- St. Bernards Healthcare Associated Regional Providers, inc.

Donna Britt (RTV major in the early '80s) is a writer and producer for ABC Radio Networks' American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks in Nashville, Tenn. Her award-winning career most recently included voiceover, imaging, narration and creative writing for Clear Channel, Time-Warner and Maverick Publishing.

Sara Graves (MSMC '09) ) is executive director for the downtown rehabilitation initiative in Kennett, Mo.

Monika Grundy (RTV '08) ) has joined WCRV AM 640 in Memphis. The station is part of Bott Radio Network, a Christian talk radio group.

Tabitha Christian Inboden (Jour '07) works for Wynne-based Erwin-Keith Inc./Progeny Ag Products. She is a sale representative for Texas and Oklahoma and also directs marketing and advertising.

Mike James (MSMC '85) has been named director of Harding University's international program in Athens, Greece. He had been dean of the College of Communications at Harding.

Clint Lewellyn (RTV '06) is a traffic assistant for Fox 16 and CW Arkansas. He lives in Little Rock.

Matt Johnson (RTV '06) is production coordinator for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery. He produces commercials and content for the lottery Website.

Jay Richards (RTV '88) works as operations supervisor with Comcast Media Center in Littleton, Colo. He joined Comcast in 2003. The media center is the uplink facility for Comcast.

Aaron Sadler (Jour '99) is press secretary for Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel in Little Rock. Sadler formerly worked for the Jonesboro Sun, Stephens Media bureaus in Washington, D.C. and Little Rock and the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.

Mickey Smith (RTV '85) is an assistant sports information director at Saint Louis University.

Ludovic A. Sourdot (RTV '98) is an assistant professor in the teacher education program at Texas Woman's University in Denton. He earned a doctorate in curriculum and instruction at Texas A&M University (College Station).

Stephanie Thum (RTV '93) has joined Armstrong Teasdale LLP in St. Louis as the law firm's first director of client relations. Her 21 years of business experience includes eight years in client relations and business development at Ernst & Young. She is a nationally published writer on customer service, social media, health care, construction, energy and environmental topics.

Libby Anderson (RTV '03) is wrapping up production work on her fourth feature film, "The Conspirator," directed by Robert Redford. Still based in Los Angeles, she works as a production coordinator on television commercials, viral/webi-sodes and music videos between film projects.

Sara Bing (SCom '05, Com Studies '06) is an enrollment specialist at North Arkansas College in Harrison and an adjunct faculty member teaching Oral Communication at Northark.

Cynthia (Fulton) Bond (Jour '87) is a research associate at the Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Cynthia and her husband, Kris, live in White Hall.

Anthony Childress (Jour '08) is covering secondary education for The Jonesboro Sun. He previously was Craighead County beat reporter for The Sun. He has a son, Alec, who is a sports management major at ASU.

Waylon Harris (Jour '06) has been named as editor of the Log Cabin Democrat media company in Conway. He had been managing editor since 2007/ He succeeds Rick Fahr, who was promoted to publisher earlier this month.

Brooksie Felty Hartness (Jour '03) operates her own real estate business, IMAGE Realty in Paragould. IMAGE is a full service office, including residential, commercial, industrial, land sales and consulting. She is married to Richard Hartness Jr., a BA and MBA graduate of ASU.

Keia Johnson (RTV '04) competed on American Idol and was among a group selected to go to Hollywood. She is a marketing representative in Memphis.

Chad Kruizenga (Jour '91) is marketing manager for the Christian Reformed Church of North American. He lives in Zeeland, Mich.

Larry McDermott (Jour '70) has retired as publisher of The Republican of Springfield, Mass. He became publisher of The Republican in 1999. He previously served as executive editor of the paper and publisher of The Bay City (Mich.) Times.

Kevin Morris (RTV '09) is working as the morning news producer at KOLN/KGIN news in Lincoln, Neb.

Myra Surrat (RTV '94) has been with Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta for 10 years. She reports she is moving into project management within traffic/media operations for the entertainment division.

Sam Pierce (Jour '09) is the assistant sports editor at the Benton Courier.

Sylvia Ramsey (MA SCom '86) is associate professor of speech communication at Georgia Military College-Augusta in Martinez, Ga.

Laurie Smalling (RTV '98) is director of business strategy for Walmart's public affairs and government relations team. She lives in Rogers.

Calvin Timbs (RTV '86) is regional manager for Automobile Protection Corporation in Norcross, Ga. He previously was a regional sales manager with Fort Motor Credit Company in Orlando, Fla. He and his wife,Terrie, reside in Southaven, Miss.
