*To be eligible for the below scholarships, you must either be accepted or currently enrolled in the Nursing Program.

Undergraduate Scholarships


Sister Patricia Lee Findley Memorial Scholarship

  •     Full-time BSN junior or senior level student

  •     Minimum 3.0 overall GPA

  •     Active member of Arkansas State SNA

  •     Plans to remain in Northeast Arkansas for at least one year post-graduation

  •     Demonstrated financial need is NOT a requirement


Leet Family Scholarship

  •     Strong consideration to minority students

  •     Full-time Sophomore BSN

  •     Minimum 3.0 GPA

  •     First preference to Marked Tree & Poinsett County students (2nd Crittenden & Craighead)

  •     Financial need and academic performance considered


Ray & Kathleen Scott Hall, Sr. Nursing Scholarship

  •     Senior student

  •     Minimum 3.0 GPA

  •     Demonstrates financial need

  •     Within 15 county area of Northeast Arkansas


Carla Brooks Spears Memorial Scholarship

  •     Full-time AASN student

  •     Demonstrates financial need

  •     Satisfactory academic progress toward degree

  •     Skills and attitudes should demonstrate qualities beneficial to nursing profession


 Susan Tolliver Memorial Scholarship

  •     Full-time AASN or BSN admitted student

  •     Evidence of academic achievement

  •     Demonstrates financial need

  •     Preference to students who do not qualify for state-funded Academic Distinction Scholarships

Lillian G. & Homer G. Proctor Nursing Scholarship

  •     The applicant must be an admitted student in either the RN to BSN or BSN nursing program
  •     The applicant must be a junior or senior-level student
  •     First preference to students from the Mountain Home area.  Second preference to students who wish to serve the elderly
  •     Donors of the scholarship may contact the recipient


Linnie Wisdom-Maude Wilson Honors Scholarship

  •     Full-time student in BSN program (at least junior standing)

  •     Must be Arkansas resident

  •     Commitment to career in nursing

  •     Outstanding academic achievement

  •     Demonstrates financial need


Clopton Clinic Nursing Scholarship

  •     Junior level BSN student

  •     Minimum 3.5 GPA

  •     Demonstrated financial need is NOT a requirement


The Harriet Mildred Smith Memorial Scholarship

  •     Junior level BSN student

  •     Minimum 3.0 GPA

  •     Priority in selection process to a graduate of Brookland High School

 

Army Nurse Corps Association Scholarship Program (Baccalaureate and Graduate Students)

The purpose of this program is to provide $3,000.00 scholarships to nursing students who are attending colleges and universities with accredited baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs, including AD-BSN, BSN accelerated nursing, anesthesia, masters and doctoral program.  Students eligible to apply for a scholarship include:

  • Nursing students who plan to enter the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve and are not participating in a program funded by the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve

  • Nursing students who have previously served in the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve

  • Army Nurse Corps officers enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate nursing program not funded by the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve

  • Army enlisted soldiers in the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve who are working toward a baccalaureate degree in nursing not funded by the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve

  • Nursing students whose parent(s) or spouses are serving or have served in the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserve

Bill Penix, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

  •     Full-time student entering or enrolled in Adult Health MSN degree program

  •     Preference to students interested in public mental health nursing

  •     Demonstrates academic achievement

  •     Demonstrates commitment to nursing profession

  •     Demonstrates satisfactory progress toward degree

  •     Demonstrated financial need is NOT a requirement
