BSN Admission Requirements

BSN Admission Requirements

 

  • Students must have at least 30 semester hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above completed by the application deadline (June 15)  

  • The following courses must be completed with a "C" or higher prior to the application deadline:

          English Composition I

          English Composition II

          College Algebra, or higher level Math

          2 of the 5 required lab sciences each course complete with lab:

            BIO 2203/2201  Human Anatomy & Physiology I & Lab

            BIO 2223/2221  Human Anatomy & Physiology II & Lab

            BIO 2103/2101  Microbiology for Nursing & Allied Health & Lab

            CHEM 1043/1041  Fundamental Concepts of Chemistry & Lab  OR
            CHEM 1013/1011  General Chemistry I & Lab

            CHEM 1052  Fundamental Concepts of Chemistry II OR
            CHEM 1033  Introduction to Organic/Biochemistry (No Lab required)

  • ALL prerequisite course work must be completed by the June 15th application deadline

  • Consideration will be given for Spanish proficiency
