RN-BSN FAQ

RN-BSN FAQ

How long does it take to complete the RN-BSN option?

Once prerequisites are met, it requires one year of full time study to complete.  (Students may choose to go part-time.)  After an associate degree in nursing, it takes approximately 4-5 semesters for completion to take the prerequisite and nursing courses.

Can the RN-BSN option be completed with part-time study?

Yes, but this should be in a reasonable time frame.

What kind of clinical will I be doing in the RN-BSN option?

The clinical component is the RN-BSN Capstone course. A complete description of the course may be found in the undergraduate bulletin.  The student works with the clinical faculty and a preceptor to conduct a project relevant to the clinical setting.
