About the Department

Welcome to the Department of Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences at Arkansas State University!  This dynamic, ever-evolving field offers a variety of job opportunities within business or management, as well as in diagnostic medical imaging and radiation therapy.   Arkansas State's reputation in the region and nation is that of quality education with meaningful, well designed clinical experiences.

The Radiologic Sciences Programs at Arkansas State University were established in 1981.   Since the establishment of the first program, the university has added four baccalaureate degree major emphases as well as several minor areas of study.  The faculty and students of the programs have established a reputation for quality education in the radiologic and imaging sciences.
