Admission Process

• Apply to Arkansas State University.
• Determine whether you meet the Admission Requirements for the DMS program.
• Download DMS application.
• Download DMS reference forms.
• Download DMS application check sheet and follow the directions.
• Submit completed application by April 1st.
• After evaluation of all completed applications, interviews with qualified applicants will be conducted.

Criteria Used for Admission:

• GPA (overall and DMS specific prerequisites)
• References
• Interview with Admissions Committee

Each of these are translated to a scaled system of points.  Once scaled, students are ranked accordingly. 

* Student are strongly encouraged to shadow in an ultrasound department prior to applying for admission.
