The Magnetic Resonance Imaging major is designed to provide the student with the skills necessary to become a competent, entry-level MRI technologist. The program is currently pursuing accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. To complete the major in this area, students must complete the 47-55 hours of the program, depending on their admittance track. No minor is required.
Upon completion of the baccalaureate degree students are prepared to sit for the ARRT examination in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Clinical competency requirements are achieved through affiliated clinical education centers. Graduates are prepared for entry level practice of magnetic resonance imaging.
