What is prior learning assessment?

It is a mechanism to review past experience, education and training to determine if it meets criteria for academic credit.  Up to 15 hours of academic credit can be awarded for prior learning.  To determine if you are eligible for credit for prior learning, you must submit a portfolio to the faculty of the DPEM program.  This includes a copy of all transcripts, certificates of training and job related DPEM experience as well as references to those who can validate this work.  For further information call the DPEM office at 870-680-8286.
