The term of the award will be for one academic year; the annual award is based on earned interest income from the principal assets.
Full-time or part-time graduate student working toward the Masters degree in secondary principalship. Recipient should demonstrate outstanding academic work, dedication to a career as a secondary principal, need for financial assistance, and commitment to improving education opportunities in the Delta. Preference will be given to minorities and/or graduate students from Northeast Arkansas who plan to remain and teach in the Arkansas Delta area.
Scholarship Committee consisting of the chairman of the Department of Educational Leadership, Curriculum, and Special Education and at least two additional faculty members.
