Programs Overview

The Department of Psychology & Counseling offers a Bachelor degree in Psychology,  and Masters degrees in School Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, and College Student Personnel Services.  It also offers the Specialist in Education degree with a major in Psychology & Counseling, with emphasis is either Mental Health Counseling or School Psychology. 

The department has 17 full time faculty with programs accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE), and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling Related Education Programs (CACREP).  In addition, the school psychology track in the ED.S. Psychology & Counseling Program is approved by the Arkansas Department of Education and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
