Specialist in Education Degrees


The Department of Psychology & Counseling offers a Specialist in Education degree in Psychology & Counseling.  Emphasis areas are:

Each emphais area is based on the individual student's previous academic training, professional experiences, and career aspirations.  Programs may lead to licensure and practice as professional counselors, school psychology specialists, psychological examiners, psychology instructors in two-year post secondary settings, and/or academic preparation for doctoral study in Psychology and Counseling.  Information about requirements for credentialing can be obtained from each program's coordinator (see below).
