Hester M. Waddill Scholarship

Qualifications for receiving Scholarship:

Recipient must be full-time student at junior or senior level who has been admitted to the Teacher Education Program

Candidates must have a grade point average of 3.3 (3.3 on a 4.0 scale)

First preference given to student preparing for careers in public education at the K-4 level

Students must be a graduate of an Arkansas high school. In additional to academic achievement other factors may be considered, but which are not mandatory include evidence of the applicant's involvement in civic or community affairs, student government, athletics, the arts and music

Qualifications for Maintaining Scholarship:

The award is not automatically renewable, however, previous recipients may reapply
