Mildred B Vance Scholarship

Qualifications for receiving Scholarship:

• College of Education, Department of Teacher Education Major in the Early Childhood Education (ECH P-4) or the Mid-level Education (MLED 4-8) Programs on the Main Campus of Jonesboro
• Overall Grade Point Average of 3.5 or better
• Majority of courses taken on Main Campus in Jonesboro
• Demonstrate excellence in the area of education
• Applicant must be enrolled in ECH 4003 Field Experiences III or MLED 4034 Field Experiences II during the semester in which the application is submitted
• Qualifications for Maintaining Scholarship:
• New recipient selected each semester scholarship offered

Mildred B Vance Scholarship Selection Committee who have been appointed by chair of the Teacher Education Department

Other Comments:

The intent of the award is to reward students for excellence during their teacher preparation and to provide monetary support during the internship
