SPARKS: Children’s Book Review Journal serves as a review journal for individuals interested in recently published books for children, preschool through young adult. The journal is not meant to be a comprehensive review source but instead is a selective source of reviews that offers a less generic point of view. SPARKS provides a vehicle whereby adults and children may become acquainted with additional books suitable for reading to and sharing with others.
There are currently 30 publishers who have teamed with ASU Department of Teacher Education to provide our reviewers with current literature for all ages. After reviews are completed the books are housed in the juvenile collection of the Dean B. Ellis library.
