Payments to Foreign Individuals and Companies

ALL payments to foreign (non U.S.) individuals or companies are subject to 30% withholding under Internal Revenue Code (IRC §1441 & §1442) unless an exception applies. 

Please contact the Tax Compliance Office at 870-680-8255 prior to contracting with any foreign individual or company for any purchases, services or travel reimbursements.  The Tax Compliance Office will attempt to assist you in structuring your payment to minimize the tax burden.
