DEGREE PROGRAMS Graduate Program No one set of prescribed courses is required of all candidates. The plan of study is based upon the goals and needs of the individual candidate. The student will form a graduate advisory committee and meet with this committee with both transcript and portfolio for the purpose of academic advisement and the assessment of possible deficiencies based upon review of the transcript and portfolio. The student is encouraged to form and meet with this committee during the semester prior to the initial registration, but the meeting must take place no later than nine weeks into the initial registration period, at mid-semester or mid summer term. Application Deadlines Spring Semester 2nd Friday in November Fall Semester 2nd Friday in April Courses Courses required of candidates for the Master of Arts, Studio Art Emphasis:

The Department of Art requires a successful portfolio review prior to enrollment in 6000 level studio courses. *All courses must be graduate level and all candidates must be licensed to teach art in the public schools. |
