The Graduate School at ASU is pleased that you are considering graduate study at the Arkansas State University. In order to ensure that your application experience is a positive one, we ask that you follow all instructions. At ASU, graduate degree programs determine their own application deadlines and program admission requirements, so please consult your program of interest for program specific information. All application materials must be submitted to The Graduate School 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in order to allow ample time for processing and admission. If a specific program has an application deadline, then all maaterials must be submitted 6 weeks prior to that program deadline. Any application received after the time frame outlined above would have no guarantee of being evaluated and decided upon based on time constraints, volume of applicants and class capacity.

If you have never applied to or attended ASU before you will need to create your user account by clicking on First Time User Account Creation. If you already have an account then just login. The Login ID and PIN you received after creating you account will allow you to complete your work over several sessions. When satisfied with your application, you will be able to submit it online directly to the Graduate School.

The non-refundable application-processing fee is $30.00 for U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents. You may pay online after your application process or you can call the cashier’s window at 870-972-3847 to pay over the phone. Of course you can always mail in a check or pay in cash/check in the Graduate School office. To apply to more than one graduate academic program, a new, separate application must be submitted for each program.

Before beginning the application, please consult your program of interest for information on application deadlines and other admission requirements. For your entire application package to be considered complete, you must arrange for the delivery of other supporting documents (transcripts, test scores, references, immunization, etc.) as described in the Application Instructions area of this site. Please ensure that your Graduate School application is submitted at least 6 weeks prior to your academic program's deadline.
