Program Description
The M.A. in Criminal Justice is a 33 hour program designed to be consistent with the nationally accepted standard in the field set by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.  The program assists in-service practitioners with a BA or BS in the field, or a closely related field, in developing additional analytical skills.  It also provides a good foundation for students who wish to pursue doctoral studies.

Admission Requirement
1. BA or BS in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology or a closely related field
2. Two letters of recommendation
3. A statement of purpose, AND
4. A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.00
5. A minimum brade of B in the following undergraduate courses, or their recognized equivalents
     Social Statistics
     Social Statistics Laboratory
     Methods of Social Research


Deadline: Fall - April 1 and Spring - November 1
