Undergraduate Research Travel Funds The Undergraduate Research Travel Funds, given annually by the Office of Research and Technology Transfer, are made available to undergraduate students who will be presenting research or creative works at a professional conference or meeting. Each student is allowed up to $250 once a year to aid in covering conference costs such as registration fees, meals, travel and lodging. Please be aware that Undergraduate Research Travel Funds are limited. The fall and spring priority application dates are important—students who submit their materials by the priority application deadlines will be considered first. Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis until funds are expended. Conferences/travel that occurs prior to the priority application date will be considered retroactively for funding. If a student is awarded Undergraduate Research Travel Funds, that student is obligated to present their research/creative project at the Undergraduate Scholars Day (USD) on April 13, 2010. To apply students must complete the Undergraduate Research Travel Funds Application. The application deadlines for the 2009-2010 academic year are : October 2, 2009 |
