Change of Major
If you are changing major, please follow the steps below:
Undergraduate:
- Student should go to the department of new major for approval of change of major
- If approved, the new advisor or departmental staff submits the online Change of Major form, which is available in AccessPoint.
- When the change is processed, an email will be sent to the advisor stating that the change of major is complete. You may also check it in your Self Service.
Graduate:
- Submit a new International Student Application form for the new major.
- Check the webpage of the respective program you are intending to apply for. Each department might have different admissions requirements and deadlines
- Once your major is changed, you may confirm it in your Self Service.
- After confirming your major change in self service, you may set up an appointment to see your advisor and get your advisor hold removed.
- You may register once you are advised by your academic advisor and your hold is removed.
