Mid-Spring 2012 Airport Transportation Guidelines

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Mandatory New International Student Orientation will begin at 8 am on January 9, 2012. We ask that all new international students are here on that date or slightly before. Those taking the shuttle and staying in hotels/motels will be picked up from their hotel/motel beginning at 6:30 am on January 9 for the orientation. All students arriving in Jonesboro need to be prepared to stay in a hotel or motel upon their arrival at their own expense. For students wishing to live on campus for the Spring 2012 semester are highly encouraged to turn their housing applications and deposits (attached) in by December 1, 2011. Once a student has completed their housing application they can email it to Raksha Harikrishnan, the International Housing Liaison, at rharikrishnan@astate.edu. Students turning in their applications by December 1, 2011 will be allowed to move into their on campus housing assignment on January 9 beginning at 2pm (after orientation). If students miss the December 1st deadline they will still be able to apply for housing but will have to wait until January 10 or 11 to move into their on campus housing assignment. These students will also need to be prepared to stay in a hotel/motel at their own expense until their on campus accommodation is available
