Study Abroad @ ASU
Study Abroad is an academic experience outside the US in which you interact with persons of another culture and participate in programs that are not available to you at ASU. Most study abroad programs allow you to continue working on your current degree program while you are overseas.

ASU has study abroad opportunities for every qualified student. Study abroad can last from a few weeks to an academic year. Students work with both their academic advisor and ASU’s Study Abroad Advisor to ensure that credits transfer back to ASU.

Study Abroad takes planning for all students and can be especially challenging for students with disabilities and for students involved in Student Support Services and Trio programs. The Office of International programs has prepared additional resources for these students which are available at:

Students with Disabilities: http://disability.astate.edu/studyabroad.html
SSS and Trio Students: http://www.clt.astate.edu/sss/study_abroad_and_sss.htm

As part of your planning you have the option of talking to ASU study abroad alumni. Students who have previously gone abroad (Peer Advisors) can help you plan your trip and give valuable suggestions and tips.
