Blackboard is a course management application designed to enhance teaching and learning. The Blackboard course management e-learning system enables instructors to build and customize course offerings. In addition, students enrolled with Blackboard become engaged in an interactive learning environment.

Accessing Blackboard

• Copy and paste the URL http://blackboard.astate.edu/ into your Browser.
• Login using your assigned ASU email address and password

Inlab Training

• ITTC Institute
  This course takes you through a detailed view of developing courses and engaging students through the effective use of technology.
• Blackboard Boot Camp
  Presented daily during the first two weeks of the Fall term; provides faculty who are new to Blackboard the basics of using the application.

Check the Schedular often for new class offerings throughout the semester.

**All new faculty are automatically set up with a Blackboard account when they get an Astate email account. If you cannot access Blackboard, contact the ITS Help Desk at (870) 972-3933.
