The workshop will cover how to clean—and when not to clean—items, storage methods, and how to create a stable environment for objects.  This workshop will help you preserve your family’s heritage and ensure that old photographs will be correctly identified and stored; the session will show you how to store precious garments, possibly a garment for your great grandchild’s christening; and this advance planning may help guarantee that the old quilt—handmade by your grandmother—won’t be used for a drop cloth.
