Environmental Sciences Degree Programs

The Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences offers both MS and PhD degrees in the interdisciplinary fields of environmental sciences.

Two tracks are available in the MS program, thesis and practicum (non-thesis).  The non-thesis option is specifically geared towards students who are employed full time in the environmental sciences or associated disciplines and are seeking an advanced degree while remaining a full time employee.  Student can pursue the thesis option part-time as well.  Admission requirements for the MS, regardless of track, are identical. The PhD program in Environmental Sciences is rooted in the independent investigation of a fundamental science question.  It is a research degree.  Former students have entered into careers in industry, government agencies, and academia.  Student goals and program of study are aligned to ensure that each student gains the experience and expertise needed to gain entry into their chosen profession.
