Dr. Stroud is currently writing an article entitled "Platted Lands Problems in Oregon: From Sagebrush Subdivisions to Coastal Resorts" based on fieldwork that he conducted in Oregon during 2001 and 2003. The summer of 2003 also included research on the "removal" of a large antiquated subdivision in the western Everglades ecosystem that will help restore the natural water regimen. The early draft of this "working paper" is entitled "Subdivision 'Removal' Required for Restoration of Natural Water Regimen in Western Everglades Ecosystem."
