President's Welcome

Dear Colleagues,

As your Staff Senate president, I am honored to serve you and lead this shared governance body on campus. The Staff Senate complements other shared governance bodies at ASU-Jonesboro and provides a formal mechanism to solicit staff input into decisions affecting ASU.  The Staff Senate serves as a liaison between the non-faculty employees of the University and the Chancellor of ASU-Jonesboro on substantive matters impacting the institution and the staff.  The ASU Staff Senate fosters a spirit of unity within the staff and encourages cooperation among staff, faculty, students and administration for the benefit of the University.

You are encouraged to become an active participant in the work and mission of the Staff Senate. Staff participation ensures that ASU will continue its tradition of excellence and become an even stronger institution than it is today.
