Students who have not been awarded a Federal Stafford Loan by the Financial Aid & Scholarships office will need to be awarded before completing a MPN.
- Students should monitor their Astate Email account for notification to complete an MPN.
- All first time borrowers must complete a Master Promissory Note for their loan.
- Students who change lenders need to complete a Master Promissory Note after notifying the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office.
You will only be able to complete a MPN if you have accepted your loan through ASU Self-Service Banner.
Allow 2-3 business days after accepting your loan before completing your MPN.
If you have not received an email to complete a Master Promissory Note, then you can click the link below that corresponds to your lender in order to complete your Master Promissory Note Online.
Note: If you do not know which lender you have chosen, you can view your lender by logging into http://in.astate.edu. You will need to follow the links under Self-Service for financial aid to view your award for the 2009-2010. You should see your lender listed next to your loan under the Accept Award Offer tab.
