Welcome to the Arkansas State University Student Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling Page.

The U.S. Department of Education REQUIRES that all FIRST TIME Stafford Loan borrowers complete a Stafford loan entrance interview prior to receiving your first disbursement of the loan proceeds.   This interview is only required to be completed ONE time as a student at Arkansas State University.
This policy applies to transfer students even if you have completed an entrance interview at a previous school.

Keep in mind:  Most loan funds are not available on the first day of classes to assist you with the purchase of books.  You should plan ahead to purchase your own books.
