Technology

Ethernet

This is the most reliable and secure way to access the network and internet on campus.  Students will need a cat5 ethernet cable (this is not the same as a phone cable).  No registration or login is necessary- simply plug and play.

Wireless

The preferred method to access the internet is via ethernet cable, but wireless connectivity is available as a compliment to the wired network.  ASU's wireless network covers most of campus.  For more detailed information refer to the ITS wireless page.

Network Problems

If you are having any issues with your network connection in the residence halls and have access to another computer with a working connection please follow the link below and fill out a work order.  You may also inform your RA or Hall Director about the problem and they will fill out a work order on your behalf.
