IN INTERDISICPLINARY STUDIES DEGREE PROGRAM

Arkansas State University offers the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) degree program through University College. The BSIS is designed to allow students the flexibility to develop an individualized program of study, using the existing course offerings in ASU's other colleges.

In consultation with the academic advisor, BSIS students select three areas of emphasis from any of ASU's majors or minors. Although no specific courses are required within any of these areas, students must complete a minimum 18 hours of course work in each for a total of 54 hours in the three emphasis areas.
