The Student Health Center has an array of medical services from treating minor illnesses & injuries to providing physical exams, immunizations, female exams (including pap smears), health education, and pre/post-test HIV Counseling (includes blood draw). 

There are two Advance Practice Nurses (APNs) that are both nationally certified as Family Nurse Practitioners.   They assess, diagnose, and treat our patients.  They may order diagnostic and/or laboratory tests, can perform procedures, and can prescribe prescription medications if needed.  They collaborate with physicians and other health professionals as needed.  

There is a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse who can provide specific health education on a 1 on 1 basis in the clinic or who performs health education classes on various topics during the day or evening hours on campus. 

The Secretary/ Office Manager schedules appointments, assists with dispensing health insurance information, and maintains student records/ charts within the office.
