The Master of Arts degree is designed to develop students' analytical skills and to deepen
their substantive knowledge in political science. Students who meet the admission requirements
of the Graduate School and the specifi c program requirements may specialize in any of four
subfi elds: American politics, comparative politics, international relations, or political theory.
