The Ph. D. Minor in Statistics is designed to give graduate students in doctoral programs
a rich foundation and core competency in statistical design and analysis skills, and to provide
education and training for interested students whose doctoral research includes a substantial
amount of statistical methodology or data analysis. These students will benefi t from broad and
enriched perspective in the fundamentals and applications of statistics.
