On July 10, 2009, we announced upcoming changes to the Blackboard environment at ASU.  Since that announcement, the ITTC and ITS have been actively engaged in implementing these changes and preparing for future upgrades to the Blackboard Learning Management system.

Many of the processes are well underway and will benefit both faculty and students at the start of the fall semester.  Most of these changes center around the course shell creation processes and enrollment processes.  In addition to these improved processes, we are also extending the timetable for the rollout of the Blackboard Learn environment.
